John 'Shottie'  Yun

John, originally from the East Coast of USA, moved to Portland, OR and dove into the tattoo industry to fulfill his dream. In 2004, he was majoring in Art concentrating on Art Therapy in New Haven, CT where he gave his first tattoo. He then went on and worked on finessing his graffiti and illustrative drawing skills as well as developing a wide range of calligraphy techniques in Chinese, Korean, and English. 

John specializes in illustrative, and Traditional tattoos, but he is all-rounded and his skills are not limited to one style. His artist background gave him a thorough understanding in color theory and fine art.

John, decided to indulge himself into the world of PMU - Permanent Make-Up. He mastered the art of Microblading, and single needle cosmetic tattoos under veteran tattooer Kim Nguyen at Tanya's Beauty School where he received his certificate of completion in Cosmetic Tattoos in 2020.
